The core of the ground flare is controlled high-temperature combustion technology. Through the four-step process of "gas intake control → precise ignition → high-temperature combustion → safe emission", it realizes harmless treatment of industrial waste gases (such as process gas, methane, biogas, etc.). The specific process is as follows:
1. Gas Intake Control
Industrial waste gas enters the combustion system through a pressure stabilizing valve and a flame arrester. The intake pressure and flow rate are automatically adjusted according to the volume and concentration of the waste gas to avoid overpressure, backflow and other safety risks, ensuring stable gas supply for subsequent combustion.
2. Precise Ignition
The system automatically triggers the electronic/automatic ignition device according to the waste gas concentration and on-site working conditions. The high-energy ignition device cooperates with the pilot burner to ignite the waste gas instantly, ensuring successful ignition even under low concentration or unstable gas supply conditions.

3. High-temperature Combustion
The waste gas undergoes sufficient oxidative decomposition in the high-temperature combustion zone of 850-1100ºC inside the ground flare. Combustible substances such as methane, process gas and VOCs are completely converted into CO2 and H2O, and toxic and harmful substances such as dioxins and harmful volatile gases are simultaneously decomposed, ensuring the combustion efficiency is over 99%.
4. Safe Emission
The high-temperature flue gas after full combustion is discharged up to the standard through the exhaust port (chimney) of the ground flare. Enclosed ground flares are also equipped with sound absorption and heat insulation structures to reduce noise and thermal radiation. The whole process is intelligently monitored by PLC and DCS systems to realize real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure and flame status, ensuring safe and stable operation.
