How it works

 

When combustible gases are generated in the production unit and need to be discharged urgently, these gases are transported to the flare head of the Flare stack through a special discharge pipeline. At this time, the ignition system responds quickly, generates high-voltage electric sparks through a high-energy igniter or uses other advanced ignition methods, such as plasma ignition, to ignite the pilot light. The pilot light is in a constant burning state, providing a stable and reliable fire source for the subsequent combustion of combustible gases.

 

The flare tip usually adopts a special design structure, such as a multi-hole nozzle, a swirl device, etc., which can promote the full mixing and uniform distribution of the combustible gas and air. Inside the flare tip, the mixture of combustible gas and air reacts rapidly under the ignition of the pilot lamp to produce a high-temperature flame. Under the guidance of the flare barrel, the flame produced by the combustion is discharged upward at a specific angle and speed to ensure that the combustion products can be safely diffused into the atmosphere. The control system monitors and accurately controls the entire elevated flare system in real time. It collects parameters such as the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the combustible gas, as well as the flame state of the flare tip, the combustion condition of the pilot lamp, and the temperature of the flare barrel through various sensors. Based on these monitoring data, the control system automatically adjusts the flow rate of the combustible gas, the working state of the ignition system, the combustion intensity of the pilot lamp, etc., to ensure that the elevated flare can operate safely, efficiently, and stably under various working conditions.
