I. Core Common Principle: "Atomization/Dispersion + Mixing" is KeyRegardless of the type of nozzle, its ultimate goal is to solve the problem of "difficulty in fully burning fuel" - liquid fuels (such as diesel oil and heavy oil), if burned directly, will not burn completely due to their small surface area and insufficient contact with air (resulting in black smoke and carbon deposits); gaseous fuels (such as natural gas), if ejected directly, will cause flame instability due to uneven flow rate/concentration. Therefore, the core functions of a nozzle are:
Breaking the fuel form: Shattering liquid fuel into tiny droplets (atomization) or dispersing gaseous fuel into a uniform airflow (dispersion), thereby significantly increasing the contact area between fuel and air;
Controlling the mixing ratio: Guiding air and atomized fuel to mix according to the "optimal combustion ratio" (e.g., the ratio of fuel oil to air is approximately 1:14.5) through structural designs (such as the position of air holes and the size of channels), laying the foundation for full combustion.

Core Power: Relies on the high pressure of the fuel itself (usually 0.2-1.0MPa) to generate high-speed rotation or impact through a special channel structure, thereby achieving atomization.
Specific Process:
Step 1: High-pressure fuel oil enters the nozzle's "swirl chamber" (with spiral guide grooves inside) from the inlet;
Step 2: The fuel oil rotates at high speed along the guide grooves in the swirl chamber, forming a "rotational vortex" and simultaneously gathering towards the edge of the swirl chamber due to centrifugal force;
Step 3: When the vortex is ejected from the nozzle outlet (a small circular hole), the rotating oil film is "torn" into tiny droplets with a diameter of 50-200μm due to sudden pressure reduction (similar to water droplets thrown off the edge of a rotating umbrella);
Step 4: The atomized droplets form a conical "spray field", mix naturally with the surrounding air, and form a stable flame after ignition.
Features: No additional atomization medium (such as steam, compressed air) is required; it has a simple structure and is suitable for medium and low-pressure combustion systems (e.g., small industrial boilers).
