It is widely used in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical engineering, chemical fiber, metallurgy, power stations, and food processing, specifically in technological processes with high requirements for corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance, for measuring the pressure of various fluid media.

How it works

Measurement Range:

Vacuum Type: Common range is -0.1~0MPa (e.g., for measuring negative pressure environments).
Positive Pressure Type: Ranges from 0~0.1MPa, 0~0.16MPa, 0~0.25MPa, 0~0.4MPa, 0~0.6MPa, 0~1MPa up to 0~100MPa; selected based on industrial needs.
Compound Range: e.g., -0.1~0.5MPa (covers both negative and positive pressure simultaneously).
Accuracy Class:
Dial Diameter 60mm: Usually Class 2.5 (allowable error ±2.5%), with some high-precision models reaching Class 1.6.
Dial Diameter 100mm/150mm: Mainstream is Class 1.6, with specially customized models able to reach Class 1.0 (allowable error ±1.0%). The smaller the accuracy class value, the more accurate the measurement.
Pressure Unit: Default is MPa (megapascal); some models can be customized with units such as kPa (kilopascal), PSI (pound per square inch), etc.

 

Operating Ambient Temperature:
Non-Filled (Standard Type): -40ºC ~ 70ºC.
Filled (Shock-Resistant Type, usually filled with silicone oil or glycerin): -25ºC ~ 70ºC, which can reduce the impact of vibration on the pointer.
Ambient Humidity: Generally required to be ≤ 85% RH (Relative Humidity); some moisture-proof models can adapt to higher humidity.
Shock Resistance Performance: Only the shock-resistant type (model with "N") has this parameter. It can usually withstand vibrations with a frequency of 20~100Hz and an amplitude of 0.15mm, and is suitable for vibrating scenarios such as pumps and compressors.
Protection Class: Common Class IP65 (dust-tight and protected against water jets); some outdoor models can reach IP67, which prevents dust and water from entering the gauge case.

 Structure Composition
It is mainly composed of a pressure guiding system (including connectors, bourdon tubes, restrictor screws, etc.), a gear transmission mechanism, a display device (pointer and dial), and a housing (including gauge case, gauge cover, gauge glass, etc.).
Working Principle
Through the elastic deformation of stainless steel sensitive elements inside the gauge, such as bourdon tubes, diaphragms, bellows, etc., the conversion mechanism of the internal movement of the gauge then transmits the elastic deformation to the pointer, causing the pointer to rotate to display the pressure.
